A couple days ago I posted a recipe for Gluten Free & Sugar Free Banana Bread. One of my favorite things to do when I make banana bread is to use some of it to make banana bread french toast! Sooo yummy.
Prep Time: 5 mintues
Cook Time: 7-10 minutes
Yields: desired amount {we made 6 pieces}
Ingredients*:
- 6 slices banana bread
- 2 eggs
- splash of milk
- 2 tsp cinnamon
*These are the proportions we used which can be changed based on how much you’re making
Directions:
Heat skillet to medium heat & spray with cooking spray {or add SMALL amount of butter}
Whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon in medium bowl. Dip each side of bread slice in mixture and place on skillet or in pan {you don’t need to “dunk” the bread.} Cook until golden brown on each side, about 4 minutes on each side.
Top with fruit, powdered sugar, or whatever you want really.
