A couple months ago I attended a birthday party that had chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting & I LOVED them. I’ve been craving the chocolate + cream cheese combo since then, so tonight I thought I’d fulfill that craving with some brownie mix and homemade frosting.
Cream Cheese Frosting
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Yields: abt. 3.5 cups {enough for a 9×13}
Ingredients:
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup milk
1 [8 oz] package cream cheese
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Using a hand mixer, blend butter, milk, vanilla and cream cheese on low for about 60 seconds {It will probably be pretty lumpy from the cream cheese.} Fold in powdered sugar with spatula {this helps prevent a giant cloud of powdered sugar!} then blend again with mixer on low for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Enjoy!
